2. The industrial revolution in the U.S. probably had greater modern impact.

I don't think this is important, nor do I want to go through years of high school history again. Closed.

EDIT: Due to my silliness being misinterpreted, I'll clarify. Were this a serious thread, I don't think the OP will get many serious responses, judging from the ones already received. Should a more serious history thread be desired, I'd support it wholeheartedly. As for now, the way this thread is it won't help the OP at all. Sorry.
